The FIRE PROTECTION PROD 08-572-00 sprinkler extension, machined from solid brass, extends the distance between a fire sprinkler's thread connection and the sprinkler system's piping. It is used when a drop nipple is too short or to accommodate ceiling height variations. This extender features one female NPT connection and one male NPT connection.
