The Fire-Lite 998 FM Series Electromagnetic Door Holder is designed for holding fire and smoke barrier doors open. This device works until a remote smoke detector signals for release. The assembly includes an armature contact plate with adjustable pivot for installation on the door and a heavy-duty electromagnet mounted on the wall or floor. A separate closing device is required for operation.
