The FIELDPIECE amn2 is a differential manometer head designed for measuring gas pressure and air pressure in HVAC and combustion systems. It reads pressure in inches of water column (WC) across a measurement range of -60.0 WC to 60.0 WC, with selectable resolution of 0.1 or 0.01 WC. Accuracy is rated at 0.4 percent of reading between -20 and 20 WC at 73 degrees F and under 90 percent relative humidity. The unit runs on a single 9-volt battery rated for 150 hours of use, with a low-battery LED indicator built into the accessory head. HVAC technicians and gas service pros use this tool for duct static pressure testing, gas appliance commissioning, and airflow diagnostics.
The amn2 is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC work where accurate low-pressure measurement is required. Typical applications include static pressure testing of air distribution systems, measuring gas supply and manifold pressure on furnaces and boilers, and verifying combustion air pressure differentials. The unit is compatible with dry, non-corrosive gases only. It operates in environments from 32 degrees F to 105 degrees F and 15 to 90 percent relative humidity, making it practical for field use in most service conditions.
Designed as an accessory head compatible with the FIELDPIECE modular instrument system. Pressure port accepts 3/16-inch (4 mm) I.D. flexible tubing. For use with dry, non-corrosive gases only.
A licensed HVAC technician or qualified gas service professional should perform pressure measurements on gas systems in accordance with local codes and appliance manufacturer procedures. Always shut off gas supply and power to the appliance before connecting or disconnecting pressure taps. Use only the included or approved flexible tubing and fittings to maintain a leak-free connection at pressure ports. Do not expose the instrument to corrosive gases, condensing moisture, or pressures outside the rated measurement range.
