The FERNCO no hub ban is a no hub band designed to join and seal cast iron or compatible drain, waste, and vent pipe sections without the need for traditional hub-and-spigot fittings. This band uses a stainless steel shield and clamp system to compress a neoprene gasket around the pipe ends, creating a leak-resistant mechanical joint. It is sized to connect a 3-inch pipe to a 2-inch pipe, making it a standard fitting for reducer transitions in DWV systems. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers in both residential and light commercial drain line applications.
