The FERNCO INC P22U-139 is a cast iron hub donut designed to create a leak-resistant mechanical connection between dissimilar pipe materials in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems. This fitting connects 2-inch service weight cast iron pipe to the plain end of 1.5-inch DWV Schedule 40 plastic pipe. It is a standard plumbing transition component installed by licensed plumbers during new construction, renovation work, or repair of existing drain systems where cast iron and plastic pipe materials meet at a hub joint.

This hub donut is suited for residential and light commercial DWV applications where a 2-inch cast iron hub receives a 1.5-inch Schedule 40 PVC or ABS plain-end pipe. It is commonly used at floor drain connections, stack transitions, and branch tie-ins where older cast iron infrastructure meets modern plastic DWV piping.
