The FERNCO INC P1056-42 is a flexible reducing coupling designed to join 4-inch pipe to 2-inch pipe in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) piping systems. It accommodates transitions between cast iron and plastic pipe in either direction, making it a practical solution when connecting dissimilar materials during repairs or new installations. The coupling ships with two stainless steel clamps that compress a flexible elastomeric sleeve to create a secure, leak-resistant connection.
