Euchner 121579 is a CET3-AP series transponder-coded safety switch with guard locking that uses RFID and a closed-circuit current principle (power to unlock). The device provides two redundant semiconductor safety outputs with internal monitoring, monitoring outputs for guard locking and door position, and an M12 8-pin plug connector. It meets Category 4 / PL e and SIL 3 safety requirements and is rated IP67 for harsh environments.
