The ETHERWAN SYSTEMS, INC. INJ30AT is a hardened 30-watt Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector designed for demanding network infrastructure installations. It delivers both data and up to 30 watts of DC power over a single Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a separate power supply at the powered device. Built to hardened specifications, this unit is suited for installations in environments with wider temperature ranges, vibration, or electrical noise than standard commercial PoE injectors can tolerate. It is installed by network technicians, electricians, and automation system integrators working in industrial, transportation, utility, or harsh-environment commercial settings.
The INJ30AT is appropriate for use in applications where standard commercial-grade PoE injectors fall short. Typical installations include outdoor enclosures, traffic control cabinets, factory floors, utility substations, and similar environments where temperature extremes or electrical interference are a factor. It powers PoE-compatible end devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, and industrial sensors over standard Ethernet cabling.
Designed as an OEM-style PoE injector for use with 802.3at-class powered devices requiring up to 30 watts, including IP cameras, wireless access points, and similar Ethernet end devices.
Installation should be performed by a qualified network technician or licensed electrician familiar with structured cabling and low-voltage power distribution. Power down any connected devices before connecting or disconnecting the injector. Installations in industrial or outdoor enclosures should comply with applicable NEC low-voltage wiring requirements and the enclosure's rated environmental specifications. Do not exceed the rated 30-watt power output when selecting powered devices.
