Product Description

Esab 693000135 Refrac-T-Back is a non-metallic ceramic round weld backing tile designed to support full penetration welds. Each 1/2" diameter by 1" long tile is supplied assembled on adhesive tape for flexible fit and temporary attachment to the reverse side of a weld. The ceramic composition supports and defines molten weld metal, resists moisture pickup, and the adhesive permits preheating to 500°F (270°C).

• Assembled on adhesive tape for adjustable lengths and temporary mounting; tiles are removable after welding.
• Adhesive permits preheating up to 500°F (270°C) without release.
