The ESAB 0707070150 is a dual-function DC stick welding machine and AC generator built for field and job site use. It delivers up to 150 amps of welding output at 60% duty cycle using inverter technology, producing a stable, smooth arc that reduces rework. The integrated AC generator is powered by a 14 HP Kohler gas engine and provides up to 4.5 kW of starting power. Four 120-volt GFCI receptacles and one 240-volt outlet allow simultaneous operation of grinders, lights, hand tools, and light-duty plasma cutters or MIG/TIG welders. Licensed welders and field electricians are the primary installers of this unit.
The 0707070150 is designed for heavy construction, pipeline, maintenance, and remote job site applications where grid power is unavailable. Its inverter-based welding output performs well with 6010 and other demanding electrodes. The auxiliary generator output operates independently from welding current, so connected tools are not affected when the operator adjusts welding settings. A 5-gallon fuel tank, engine hour meter, large industrial-grade wheels, and removable ergonomic handles make the unit practical for daily transport across rough terrain.
Designed as an OEM-style all-in-one replacement or primary unit for job sites requiring both DC stick welding and portable AC generator power in a single machine.
Installation and commissioning should be performed by a qualified welding technician or licensed electrician familiar with portable generator and welding equipment. Shut down and allow the engine to cool before performing any maintenance or electrode changes. Operate outdoors or in well-ventilated areas only — never run a combustion engine indoors. Verify that connected loads do not exceed the rated receptacle amperage before energizing outlets.
