The ERGODYNE 17992 is a cut- and puncture-resistant work glove designed for trade and industrial applications that demand hand protection in cold, wet, or abrasive conditions. Built on a 13-gauge HPPE shell, the glove carries an ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A5 rating and is fully coated in latex to create a waterproof barrier against water and cold air. A brushed acrylic fleece liner adds thermal comfort during extended wear. The sandy nitrile-dipped palm delivers a reliable grip on wet or oily surfaces. Rated EN 388 4X43E, these gloves meet both ANSI 105 and EN 388 standards. Sold as a pair in size Small.
The 17992 is suited for general construction, landscaping, utility maintenance, and outdoor trade work where workers face simultaneous cut hazards and cold or wet environmental conditions. The full latex coating makes these gloves appropriate for work involving water exposure, such as irrigation, plumbing rough-in, and cold-weather electrical or mechanical service. The knit cuff and seamed acrylic fleece lining make extended wear practical on a job site. The unisex sizing fits Small for men and X-Small for women per ERGODYNE sizing charts.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use work glove compatible with general hand-protection programs requiring ANSI Cut Level A5 and waterproof full-coat construction in size Small.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, punctures, or coating delamination that would compromise waterproof or cut-resistant performance. Do not use these gloves as a substitute for arc flash, chemical splash, or electrical insulation PPE where specific NFPA 70E or ASTM ratings are required. Replace gloves immediately if the latex coating is breached. Glove selection should be reviewed against the site-specific Job Hazard Analysis to confirm the A5 cut rating is appropriate for the task.
