The ERGODYNE 17923 is a full-fingered, cut-resistant utility glove rated ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A6, designed for trade professionals who work around sharp edges, sheet metal, glass, or other high-cut-risk materials. Part of the ProFlex 812CR6 series, it features an Armortex-backed palm constructed from synthetic leather that resists knicks, cuts, and abrasion. The back is also synthetic leather with a polyester lining for comfort and durability. ANSI Abrasion Level 2 and ANSI Puncture Level 3 ratings round out the protection profile. The glove weighs approximately 0.31 pounds per pair and ships as a pair in size Medium.
The 17923 is suited for residential and commercial trade applications where hand protection is required alongside dexterity. Typical use cases include HVAC sheet metal fabrication and installation, plumbing rough-in work, electrical conduit handling, and general mechanical service where contact with sharp edges is common. The rough grip surface aids tool and material handling. The hook-and-loop red cuff closure allows quick donning and a secure fit without tools. These gloves are sized for both medium men and women.
Designed as an OEM-style utility glove replacement or initial-issue PPE for trade professionals requiring ANSI A6 cut resistance in a full-fingered, medium-sized glove.
These gloves are PPE and do not require installation. Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or compromised stitching that may reduce protection. Replace immediately if the Armortex palm layer shows signs of penetration or structural damage. Always verify that the glove ANSI cut rating meets or exceeds the hazard level identified in your job-site safety assessment before use.
