The ERGODYNE 17673 is a cut and puncture-resistant work glove rated ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A5 and EN 388 4X43E, designed for trade professionals working in environments where hand protection from sharp materials and cold conditions is required. Built from 13-gauge HPPE, the glove features a fully coated latex exterior that blocks water and cold air, while a soft 10-gauge brushed acrylic fleece liner provides thermal comfort during extended wear. At 10 inches overall length, the glove covers the wrist adequately for most general-trade applications. Electricians, pipefitters, sheet metal workers, and general construction crews handling materials in cold or wet conditions are the primary installers and users of this glove.
This glove is suited for residential and commercial jobsite use where workers face exposure to sharp edges, abrasive surfaces, and cold or wet ambient conditions. The fully coated latex back and nitrile-dipped palm deliver waterproof performance, making the 17673 appropriate for outdoor work in rain or cold weather. The sandy nitrile grip surface on the palm side assists with handling slippery or wet materials. It is sold as a pair and sized for a medium hand, fitting most adult men at medium and women at small per ERGODYNE sizing guidance.
The ERGODYNE 17673 is part of the Series 7551 glove line and is designed as an OEM-equivalent replacement or stock glove for medium-sized cut-resistant glove applications meeting ANSI 105 and EN 388 standards.
Inspect gloves for damage before each use and replace any pair showing tears, punctures, or coating separation, as compromised gloves do not provide rated protection. Gloves should be sized to fit snugly without bunching at the fingers, which can reduce dexterity and grip. Follow the applicable jobsite personal protective equipment requirements and any OSHA hand protection guidelines relevant to the work task. Latex-coated gloves should not be worn by individuals with latex sensitivities.
