The ERGODYNE 17672 is a cut- and puncture-resistant work glove rated ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A5 and built for cold, wet, and sharp-material environments. The 13-gauge HPPE shell provides the cut resistance while a fully coated latex exterior seals out water and cold air. Inside, a 10g brushed acrylic fleece liner adds thermal protection without sacrificing dexterity. The sandy nitrile-dipped palm delivers grip on wet or oily surfaces. At 10 inches overall length with a knit cuff, this glove fits securely and installs as a pair. Installers and service technicians working around sheet metal, pipe edges, or wire terminations will find this a practical daily-wear option.
The 17672 is suited for trade work involving cut hazards in cold or wet conditions. Typical applications include HVAC sheet metal handling, plumbing rough-in with copper or steel pipe, electrical conduit work, and general construction tasks in low-temperature environments. The fully coated latex back and palm make it appropriate for outdoor or unheated workspace use. The glove is unisex and sized as Small, which also corresponds to Women's X-Small per standard sizing charts. It ships as a single pair.
Designed as a general-purpose cut- and weather-resistant work glove in the ERGODYNE Series 7551 line. Sized Small (Men's Small, Women's X-Small). Meets ANSI 105 and EN 388 standards.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, punctures, or latex coating failures that would compromise cut or water protection. Replace any glove showing visible damage to the coating or shell. These gloves are not rated as electrical insulating PPE and must not substitute for arc-flash or high-voltage hand protection. Follow applicable OSHA PPE selection requirements for the specific cut hazard level present on the job site.
