The ERGODYNE 16783 is a strap-on ice cleat designed to add stud traction to work boots and footwear in icy or slippery outdoor conditions. It attaches via a pull-on method, stretching over the sole and heel of the boot without buckles or laces. Sized to fit men's and women's medium shoe sizes, covering approximately size 5 to 7.5, this cleat is built for field workers, service technicians, and trade professionals who work on snow- and ice-covered surfaces. The cleat body is black and weighs 0.34 pounds, keeping added foot weight minimal during extended wear.
This cleat is suited for residential and commercial jobsite environments where workers must navigate frozen walkways, rooftops, loading docks, or outdoor service areas in winter conditions. HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and other trade professionals working outdoors in cold climates rely on this type of traction device to reduce slip hazards. The pull-on attachment makes it fast to put on and remove without tools, which is practical when moving between indoor and outdoor work areas repeatedly throughout a shift.
Fits most work boots in medium sizing (shoe size 5 to 7.5). Compatible with TREX 6301 replacement spikes.
No tools are required to attach or remove this cleat. Stretch the cleat over the toe and heel of the boot on a stable surface before walking. Inspect studs regularly for wear or damage, and replace spikes using the compatible TREX 6301 replacement spikes when traction is reduced. Remove cleats before walking on hard indoor flooring to prevent slipping on smooth surfaces and to extend cleat life.
