Episode SIG-58-IW 5 Inch Serin In-wall Speaker 8 Ohm

Product Description

The EPISODE SIG-58-IW is a 5 inch in-wall loudspeaker from the Serin series, designed for permanent residential installation. This single-unit speaker mounts flush into drywall or similar wall surfaces, delivering audio as part of a distributed audio or home theater system. At 8 ohms impedance, it is compatible with standard multi-zone amplifiers and receivers commonly used in residential audio distribution. Installation is handled by low-voltage or audio-video integration professionals. The Serin series is engineered for clean, low-profile placement in living spaces where aesthetics and performance both matter to the end user.

The SIG-58-IW is intended for residential in-wall audio applications. It fits into standard new-construction or retrofit wall cutouts and integrates into whole-home audio systems, dedicated listening rooms, or background music setups. This unit is sold individually, allowing installers to place single speakers precisely where coverage is needed without purchasing pairs unnecessarily. It is appropriate for bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, and other living spaces where in-wall mounting is preferred over surface or ceiling options.

Installation Notes

Installation of in-wall speakers is typically performed by licensed low-voltage or audio-video integration technicians. Power down all amplifiers and source equipment before making speaker wire connections. Follow local building codes regarding in-wall wiring, and use CL2 or CL3 rated cable where required by code. Do not install in locations subject to high moisture without a speaker rated for that environment.
