Episode ES-ROCK-DVC-8-GRA 8 in Outdoor Rock Speaker

Product Description

The EPISODE ES-ROCK-DVC-8-GRA is an 8-inch outdoor rock speaker designed to blend into landscape environments while delivering full-range audio. Built to withstand outdoor conditions, this speaker is intended for permanent exterior installation in residential and light commercial applications. Its rock-shaped enclosure mimics natural stone, allowing it to sit among garden beds, planters, or other hardscape features without drawing attention. Audio installers and custom integration professionals are the primary trades handling this unit.

This speaker is suited for outdoor entertainment zones, poolside audio systems, patio setups, and landscape audio installations. The dual-voice-coil (DVC) driver configuration gives installers flexibility in wiring, supporting both series and parallel impedance configurations to match amplifier requirements. It ships as a single unit and is categorized as an outdoor and all-weather product, making it appropriate for year-round exterior use in most climates.

Installation Notes

Installation is typically performed by a licensed audio-video integrator or low-voltage technician. Power down the amplifier or distribution system before making any speaker connections. Speaker wire should be rated for direct burial or run through conduit when routed underground to comply with applicable local codes. Position the enclosure on a stable, level surface and orient the speaker grille toward the primary listening area for best coverage.
