Episode ES-500-AW-6-BLK Outdoor Speaker Pair 6 Inch

Product Description

The EPISODE ES-500-AW-6-BLK is an all-weather outdoor speaker sold as a pair in a black finish. Engineered for permanent outdoor installation, these speakers are built to withstand exposure to moisture, temperature swings, and UV light while delivering consistent audio reproduction. The 6-inch driver configuration makes this pair well suited for residential patios, covered decks, pool surrounds, and similar outdoor entertainment zones. Installation is typically handled by a licensed low-voltage or audio-video systems integrator. The black enclosure blends into exterior soffits, overhangs, and mounting surfaces where a dark finish is preferred.

These speakers are designed for outdoor and all-weather audio applications in residential settings. Typical deployment includes patio and deck sound systems, covered outdoor living areas, and architectural installs where the speaker must tolerate direct or indirect weather exposure year-round. The pair configuration allows a single stereo zone to be completed with one SKU. They are appropriate for use with standard low-impedance residential amplification and whole-home audio distribution systems.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician or licensed audio-video integrator familiar with outdoor speaker mounting and weatherproofing requirements. Power down the amplifier or receiver before making any speaker wire connections. Use outdoor-rated, direct-burial or in-wall speaker cable where required by local code. Mount enclosures per manufacturer bracket guidance to ensure proper drainage and to avoid trapping moisture against the cabinet.
