Episode ECS-800-PND6-BLK 70V Pendant Speaker 6 Inch Black

Product Description

The EPISODE ECS-800-PND6-BLK is a 70-volt pendant speaker designed for distributed audio installations in commercial and light commercial environments. Operating on the 70V constant-voltage audio standard, this speaker integrates into multi-zone amplifier systems without the impedance-matching complexity of low-impedance speaker wiring. The black finish makes it suitable for ceiling or overhead suspension in spaces where the speaker remains visible. Installation is handled by qualified audio/AV integrators or licensed electricians familiar with 70V distributed sound systems.

This pendant speaker is intended for use in commercial spaces such as retail stores, restaurants, offices, lobbies, warehouses, and similar environments where overhead suspended speakers provide broad coverage. The 6-inch driver configuration delivers coverage suitable for mid-sized commercial zones. The 70V transformer-based design allows multiple speakers to be wired in parallel on a single amplifier circuit, making it a standard choice for large-scale distributed audio projects.

Key Features

• 70V constant-voltage design for multi-zone distributed audio systems
• 6-inch driver for overhead pendant-mount installation
• Black finish for unobtrusive appearance in commercial spaces
• Pendant suspension mounting for flexible overhead placement
• Compatible with standard 70V amplifier systems used in commercial AV installations

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pendant speaker for commercial 70V distributed audio systems.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified AV integrator or licensed electrician with experience in 70V distributed audio systems. De-energize the amplifier circuit completely before making any speaker wiring connections. Ensure pendant suspension hardware is rated for the weight of the speaker and is anchored to a structurally sound overhead surface. Local building codes and NEC requirements for audio signal wiring should be observed throughout the installation.
