Episode ECS-500-AW70V-4-BLK 70V Outdoor Speaker Black

Product Description

The EPISODE ECS-500-AW70V-4-BLK is an all-weather outdoor speaker designed for 70-volt distributed audio systems. Built to withstand outdoor environments, this speaker is suited for commercial and residential applications where reliable sound distribution across multiple zones is required. The 70-volt design allows long cable runs with minimal signal loss, making it a practical choice for contractors and integrators installing distributed audio in challenging or extended-run environments. It ships as a single unit and is finished in black.

This speaker is intended for 70-volt constant-voltage audio distribution systems installed in outdoor settings. Typical applications include commercial properties, hospitality venues, multi-zone residential systems, and covered outdoor entertainment areas. Its all-weather construction makes it appropriate for installations exposed to the elements, including covered patios, building exteriors, and similar environments where weather resistance is a primary requirement.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage or audio systems technician familiar with 70-volt distributed audio wiring practices. Disconnect and power down the amplifier before making any speaker connections. Follow local electrical codes governing low-voltage outdoor wiring, including conduit and weatherproofing requirements for exterior runs. Verify transformer tap settings on the speaker match the amplifier output and total system wattage load before energizing the system.
