The ENERPAC PAM1042 is an air-hydraulic pump rated to 10,000 psi, designed to power double-acting hydraulic cylinders in industrial and construction service applications. It uses compressed air as the drive source and delivers controlled hydraulic pressure through a 3-position, 4-way valve that enables full Advance, Hold, and Retract cylinder operating functions. The VM-4 4-way manual valve provides precise flow control during each phase of the work cycle. With a 462 cubic inch reservoir capacity and a usable oil capacity of 2 units, this pump supports sustained operation on demanding jobs. Licensed hydraulic technicians and millwrights are the typical installers for this class of equipment.
The PAM1042 is suited for industrial pressing, lifting, tensioning, and positioning applications where double-acting cylinder control is required. Its air-driven design makes it appropriate for shop floor environments, field maintenance operations, and structural assembly work where electric power may not be available or practical. The pump is compatible with double-acting hydraulic cylinders and requires a compressed air supply delivering 26 CFM at low pressure or 11 CFM at 10,000 psi to achieve full rated output.
