The ENERCO F163063 is a 200,000 BTU/h power-vented unit heater designed for natural gas operation in large commercial and industrial spaces. The aluminized steel heat exchanger transfers heat efficiently while resisting the corrosive byproducts of combustion. A built-in fan draws room air across the heat exchanger and distributes warmed air throughout the space. The integrated power vent system exhausts combustion gases through a single vent pipe, reducing the complexity of the venting installation compared to gravity-vent designs. Rated at 110 VAC single-phase, the unit connects to a standard electrical supply for fan and controls operation. Licensed HVAC and mechanical contractors typically handle installation in compliance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer's instructions.
This unit heater is rated to heat spaces up to 6,700 square feet, making it well-suited for factories, warehouses, garages, and other large unoccupied or semi-occupied commercial buildings that require high-output forced-air heat. The adjustable air louvers feature three locking positions, allowing the installer to direct airflow toward the work area. The power-vent configuration gives the installer flexibility in locating the unit relative to exterior walls, since a single vent pipe handles exhaust without relying on natural draft.
Designed for natural gas supply only. This unit is not configured for liquid propane (LP) operation. Confirm local gas supply type and available pressure before installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC or mechanical contractor in accordance with local mechanical codes and the appliance manufacturer's instructions. Shut off the gas supply and disconnect electrical power before servicing the unit or making any connections. The power vent system requires proper sizing and routing of the vent pipe to the exterior of the building per the manufacturer's venting specifications. Do not operate the heater without the vent system fully connected and verified.
