The ENERCO EN-F102658XL is a low intensity radiant tube heater designed for natural gas operation at 150,000 BTU/h output. It uses direct line-of-sight radiant heat to warm floor-level objects and personnel rather than heating air from the top down. The burner is a hot surface ignition (HSI) type, housed in a sealed burner control box with a full-cover polished aluminum reflector. Built with 16-gauge aluminized tubing, the unit is engineered for durability in demanding commercial and industrial environments. Licensed HVAC and gas technicians are the primary installers for this class of equipment.
The EN-F102658XL is suited for large commercial and industrial spaces such as warehouses, garages, agricultural buildings, loading docks, and manufacturing facilities where uniform floor-level warmth is required. It accepts either outside or inside air for combustion, giving installers flexibility based on building layout. The heater supports both straight and U-tube configurations, allowing the installer to select the layout that best fits the structure. Venting is Category I vertical or Category III horizontal, accommodating a wide range of installation scenarios.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation burner assembly for low intensity radiant tube heating systems operating on natural gas in commercial and industrial applications.
Installation must be performed by a licensed gas technician or HVAC professional in accordance with local codes, the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), and the manufacturer instructions. Shut off the gas supply and disconnect electrical power to the system before beginning any service or installation work. Verify venting category compatibility with existing flue pipe before connecting; Category I and Category III systems use different vent materials and are not interchangeable. Clearances to combustibles must be confirmed per the unit's installation manual prior to startup.
