The ENCORE thhn12strwht/blu1250c is a 12 AWG stranded copper THHN building wire with a white insulation jacket and blue stripe for circuit identification. It is rated for use in conduit and cable trays in dry and damp locations across residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems. The PullPro packaging format provides a 1250-foot coil engineered for easier pulling through conduit runs. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors are the primary installers. The stranded copper construction allows for greater flexibility compared to solid conductors, making it well suited for branch circuit wiring and panel feeder applications where conductor routing involves bends or tight conduit paths.
This wire is used in standard conduit installations for branch circuits, feeders, and general-purpose wiring in residential and light commercial construction. The white with blue stripe color coding supports National Electrical Code identification practices for multi-wire circuits and phase differentiation on larger jobs. The 1250-foot PullPro reel format is designed for job-site efficiency, reducing pull friction and reel handling time on longer conduit runs. Two coils per carton yield 2500 feet total when ordering by the case.
Designed as a standard THHN 12 AWG stranded building wire suitable for use in EMT, rigid metal conduit, intermediate metal conduit, and cable tray systems in accordance with NEC requirements for dry and damp locations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits at the panel before pulling or terminating conductors. Use appropriate conduit fill calculations per NEC Chapter 9 to confirm conduit sizing before pulling. Do not exceed the conductor ampacity ratings established by NEC Table 310.15 for 12 AWG copper.
