The EMUGE L0100100.0973 is a double-end STI plug thread gage designed to verify M8x1.25 internal threads to the 6H tolerance class. One end carries the Go member and the opposite end carries the No Go member, allowing a technician to confirm both the minimum material condition and the maximum material condition in a single tool. The gage is manufactured from tool steel with a bright, uncoated finish and conforms to DIN ISO 1502 standards. A short-form certification is included with each unit. The handle is included and sized to accept a standard handle mount, making the gage ready to use out of the box.
This gage is used in machine shops, manufacturing cells, and field maintenance environments wherever STI threaded inserts are installed into M8x1.25 tapped holes. Typical applications include aerospace, automotive, and general industrial repair work where Heli-Coil or similar thread inserts are used to restore or reinforce threaded bores. Right-hand thread direction is standard. The gage is not pre-calibrated from the factory, so facilities operating under a formal quality system should calibrate it against traceable standards before placing it in service.
Designed for use with M8x1.25 STI threaded inserts and the tapped holes that receive them, conforming to the 6H tolerance class as defined under DIN ISO 1502.
Thread gages are inspection tools and should be handled by quality technicians or machinists familiar with gage usage procedures. Store the gage in its case when not in use to protect the thread form from damage. Do not force the No Go end into a conforming thread; if resistance is not felt immediately, re-examine the tapped hole for oversize conditions. Facilities under ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems should establish a calibration interval and log gage usage per their control-of-monitoring-and-measuring-equipment procedure.
