The EMUGE GFR35106.5012 is a helical flute thread mill designed for cutting internal UNC threads in a CNC machining environment. It produces 7/16-14 threads with a 0.3540-inch cutting diameter and a 0.8910-inch length of cut. The tool is manufactured from micrograin solid carbide and carries a TiCN coating for extended wear resistance and heat management at the cutting edge. With three right-hand flutes and coolant-through capability, it is suited for high-feed applications in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Machinists and CNC programmers in production and job-shop settings select this tool for accurate, single-pass internal thread milling.
This thread mill is applied in CNC machining centers where interpolated thread milling is preferred over tapping, particularly in blind holes, hard materials, or applications requiring tight thread tolerance control. The 3/8-inch shank diameter and 1-9/16-inch shank length provide secure toolholder engagement. The UNC thread standard and 14 TPI designation make it a direct fit for standard 7/16-14 internal thread requirements commonly found in mechanical assemblies, fixtures, and structural components.
Designed for CNC machining centers capable of helical interpolation; suited for cutting 7/16-14 UNC internal threads in workpieces requiring a 0.3540-inch cutting diameter tool with a 3/8-inch shank interface.
Installation and operation of this tool should be performed by qualified CNC machinists or tooling technicians. Secure the shank in a precision collet or milling chuck rated for the shank diameter before spindle engagement. Verify that the machining center supports helical interpolation and that coolant-through supply pressure matches the toolholder and spindle specifications. Inspect the cutting edge condition before each production run and replace the tool at the first sign of chipping or dimensional deviation.
