The EMUGE BU109101.5003 is a straight flute machine tap designed for cutting 4-40 UNC internal threads in production and maintenance applications. Built from cobalt high-speed steel and coated with titanium carbonitride (TiCN), it delivers extended tool life when threading ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The modified bottoming chamfer allows threading closer to the bottom of blind holes than a standard plug tap. With a 2-flute straight flute geometry and a right-hand thread direction, this tap suits CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual tapping operations where chip evacuation is manageable and hole depth is limited.

Installation Notes
