The EMTEK 8221NWUS14 is a Norwich style knob privacy lockset finished in Polished Nickel with a Lifetime finish rating. It is designed for interior doors where a turn-button or thumbturn privacy function is required — such as bathrooms and bedrooms — rather than a keyed entry. The unit ships with a 2-3/8 inch backset and mounts on a rectangular rose. Door thickness compatibility spans 1-1/4 inches to 2 inches, covering most standard residential interior door slabs. Installation is handled by a finish carpenter, general contractor, or experienced DIYer working with standard door hardware tools.

This lockset is intended for residential interior door applications where a privacy function is needed. Each unit is sold individually and is custom assembled by EMTEK at their Southern California facility.
