The EMT FLEX la250r275m is a 2.5-inch Type-UA/LA liquidtight flexible metallic conduit built for installations that demand both mechanical protection and moisture resistance. It features a steel core wrapped in a gray PVC jacket, providing a flexible yet durable raceway for electrical conductors in wet or outdoor environments. The liquidtight construction seals out water, oils, and contaminants at the conduit body, making it well suited for use where rigid conduit cannot be routed. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers. This conduit is sold cut to length, allowing job-specific quantities without waste.
This conduit is used in commercial, industrial, and residential applications wherever a flexible connection is required between a fixed raceway and a motor, HVAC unit, compressor, pump, or similar equipment. The 2.5-inch trade size accommodates larger conductor bundles and is commonly found in mechanical rooms, rooftop equipment connections, and process environments where vibration isolation and liquidtight protection are both required. It is appropriate for both indoor and outdoor use where the PVC jacket provides adequate chemical and UV resistance for the environment.
Designed as an OEM-style flexible raceway solution compatible with standard 2.5-inch liquidtight fittings and connectors used in commercial and industrial electrical installations.
Installation of liquidtight flexible metallic conduit must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC Article 350. De-energize all circuits and lock out power at the panel before beginning work. Use fittings rated for liquidtight flexible metallic conduit at termination points to maintain the liquidtight rating of the assembly. Avoid over-bending beyond the minimum bend radius of the conduit to prevent jacket cracking or core damage.
