The EMT FLEX la125mr is a Type-UA/LA liquidtight flexible metallic conduit (LFMC) designed for protecting electrical wiring in wet, oily, or outdoor environments where both flexibility and moisture resistance are required. Built with a steel core and a gray PVC outer jacket, this conduit resists corrosion, physical damage, and liquid infiltration. Available in a 200-foot coil sold cut to length, the la125mr carries a 1-1/4 inch trade size, making it suitable for medium-to-large conductor runs in industrial, commercial, and residential mechanical applications. Licensed electricians and HVAC technicians are the primary installers of this product type.
This conduit is commonly used in final connections to motors, compressors, HVAC equipment, pumps, and other machinery where vibration isolation and routing flexibility are needed. The liquidtight construction makes it appropriate for exterior installations, equipment rooms, rooftop units, and any location where conduit may be exposed to moisture, condensate, or wash-down conditions. The cut-to-length format allows installers to pull exactly what is needed from a 200-foot coil, reducing waste on multi-connection jobs.
Designed as a standard Type-UA/LA liquidtight flexible metallic conduit replacement or new-installation product compatible with 1-1/4 inch LFMC fittings and connectors used in commercial and residential electrical and mechanical systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 350 governing liquidtight flexible metal conduit. De-energize all circuits before making any conduit connections or terminations. Use only listed 1-1/4 inch LFMC fittings rated for liquidtight service to maintain the wet-location integrity of the assembly. Avoid sharp bends below the conduit minimum bend radius to prevent jacket cracking or core deformation.
