The Empire Industries 62G0078 is a small mouth beam clamp (Series FIG 62) designed to attach a 7/8-9 hanger rod to the top or bottom flange of a beam or bar joist. Constructed of malleable iron with an electro-galvanized finish, it has a rated load capacity of 1,130 lb and a height of 1-7/8 in. It fits flange thicknesses up to 5/8 in and complies with Federal Specification A-A-1192 A and MSS SP-58/SP-69 (Type 19).
