The EMBERGLOW EWCL2430NV is a vent-free millivolt burner system designed for natural gas fireplace applications in residential settings, including mobile homes. Rated at 40,000 BTU/h, this burner operates on a millivolt ignition system, meaning it requires no external electrical power to function. It can be controlled manually at the burner or paired with an optional remote control. A built-in Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) monitors room oxygen levels and shuts off the gas supply automatically if levels fall to an unsafe threshold. The gas connection is 1/2 inch, with a manifold pressure of 4.0 inches w.c. and inlet supply pressure requirements of 7.0 inches w.c. minimum and 10.5 inches w.c. maximum. Licensed gas technicians and fireplace installers are the intended service trades for this product.
This burner is designed specifically for use inside a vent-free firebox with the Everwarm Cumberland log set in either 24-inch or 30-inch sizing. It is not a universal burner and is not compatible with other log set styles or brands. For the 24-inch log size, minimum firebox dimensions are 17 inches height, 13.5 inches depth, 28 inches front width, and 20.5 inches rear width. For the 30-inch log size, minimum firebox dimensions are 17 inches height, 13.5 inches depth, 32 inches front width, and 26 inches rear width. Installation is limited to indoor, single-sided fireplace applications. This product cannot be shipped to California, and state or local codes in some jurisdictions prohibit the use of vent-free heating products.
This burner is designed exclusively for use with Everwarm Cumberland log sets in 24-inch or 30-inch sizes. It will not fit or function correctly with other log set styles or brands. Burners are certified to work with specific log sets only and are not universal.
Installation must be performed by a licensed gas technician in accordance with applicable local building codes and the National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54). Always shut off the gas supply at the main valve before servicing or installing this burner. Verify local and state regulations regarding vent-free appliances before installation, as some jurisdictions prohibit their use. Confirm minimum firebox dimensions are met for the selected log set size prior to fitting the burner.
