The ELKHART PRODUCTS ELL-112 is a close rough 90-degree copper elbow designed for sweat-solder connections in residential and commercial plumbing systems. Part of the KLEENFIT product line, this fitting arrives cleaned and bagged to meet flux-ready installation standards, reducing prep time on the job. The CxC (copper-to-copper) connection type accepts standard 1-1/2 inch copper tubing on both ends. At 0.371 pounds, it is a compact, lightweight fitting well suited for drain, waste, and vent applications as well as supply piping where a 90-degree directional change is needed. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers.
This elbow is used in residential and light commercial plumbing installations wherever a 90-degree turn is required on 1-1/2 inch copper pipe runs. Typical applications include drain and vent lines, fixture branch connections, and water supply rough-in work. The KLEENFIT designation means the fitting interior and socket surfaces are pre-cleaned and sealed in a protective bag, helping ensure consistent solder joints without additional chemical cleaning prior to installation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit copper solder fitting for 1-1/2 inch CxC plumbing applications in residential and commercial systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and fully drain the line before cutting or soldering. Clean pipe ends and socket surfaces, apply flux evenly, and solder using proper technique with a torch rated for copper sweat work. Allow the joint to cool completely before restoring water pressure or testing the connection.
