The ELKHART PRODUCTS DEELL-12 is a lead-free 90-degree drop ear elbow designed for copper water supply systems in residential and light commercial plumbing applications. Cast from lead-free brass, this fitting connects copper tubing using a C x C (copper-to-copper) solder configuration. The integrated ear tabs allow the fitting to be surface-mounted directly to a wall stud or backer plate, securing the supply stub-out in place before wall finish is applied. At 0.115 pounds, it is a compact, lightweight fitting suited for tight rough-in spaces. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers for this type of fitting.
