The ELKHART PRODUCTS 1/8" COPPE is a WROT copper coupling with roll stop, designed for sweat-solder CxC connections in small-diameter copper tubing systems. The roll stop feature provides a positive stop that controls insertion depth, ensuring consistent joint alignment during soldering. At 0.004 pounds, this compact fitting measures 0.31 x 0.68 x 0.31 inches and is suited for 1/8-inch nominal pipe size (1/4-inch OD ACR tubing). Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians install this fitting in low-pressure copper piping and refrigeration tubing applications where precise, repeatable joints are required.
This coupling is used in residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC systems wherever small-diameter copper lines require a straight inline connection. Its WROT copper construction makes it appropriate for potable water, refrigeration, and hydronic piping. The CxC solder-type end connections follow standard sweat-fitting practice and are compatible with 1/8-inch nominal copper tubing or 1/4-inch OD ACR copper tubing, depending on the application.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 1/8-inch nominal (1/4-inch OD ACR) copper tubing systems using CxC sweat connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or certified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and the International Plumbing Code. Shut off and depressurize the line before cutting and fitting. Clean tubing ends and fitting sockets thoroughly before applying flux and soldering. Do not overheat the fitting, as excessive heat can damage the roll stop and degrade joint integrity.
