The ELEMENTS 3940-SN is a mushroom-style cabinet knob finished in satin nickel, part of the Gatsby Collection. It measures 1-3/16 inches in diameter with a 15/16-inch projection from the cabinet face. This hardware is designed for installation on cabinet doors and drawers in residential kitchens, bathrooms, and furniture applications. Cabinetmakers, finish carpenters, and general contractors typically specify this style when a soft, rounded profile is needed to complement transitional or contemporary millwork. The satin nickel finish provides a brushed, low-sheen appearance that resists fingerprints better than polished metal surfaces.
The 3940-SN fits standard cabinet door and drawer fronts and is suited for both new construction and remodel work. Its dimensions make it appropriate for overlay and inset cabinet doors across a wide range of face-frame and frameless cabinet styles. The Gatsby Collection offers a coordinated line of hardware for projects requiring consistent finish and profile across multiple cabinet runs.
Designed as a standard single-hole cabinet knob replacement or new-install hardware for residential and light commercial cabinetry applications.
Installation requires a standard 3/16-inch or per-manufacturer-spec mounting hole bored through the cabinet door or drawer front. A machine screw, typically included by the manufacturer, threads through the panel into the base of the knob. Power tools should not be used to final-tighten the mounting screw, as over-torquing can crack the cabinet face or strip the knob base. Verify hole placement with a template before drilling to ensure consistent positioning across multiple cabinet faces.
