    stop the clicking

    AC was clicking on then off. Talk to my repair serv about issue last visit. He told me he couldn't get thermostat to do it and to replace it would cost me around $200.So I passed. The issue kept happening.Found thermostat for around 50.My son replaced it in minutes. And issue is gone. The slide for AC/heat was broken or had short.
