The ELECTRO HARDWARE S817-M07-F16-H is a round, female unthreaded circuit board spacer designed to create precise standoff clearance between a PCB and a mounting surface. Machined from 18-8 and 303 grade stainless steel to the QQ-S-763 fastener standard, this spacer delivers corrosion resistance and dimensional consistency suited to demanding environments. Key dimensions are 0.625 inches overall length, 0.171 inches inside diameter, and 0.3125 inches outside diameter. The uncoated finish and inch-system sizing make it a straightforward drop-in hardware component for electronics assembly and control board mounting tasks.
This spacer is used wherever a No. 8 screw pattern is required to secure or elevate a circuit board within an enclosure or panel. Typical applications include HVAC control board assemblies, electrical panel PCB mounting, and light commercial or residential equipment builds requiring a corrosion-resistant standoff. The female unthreaded bore accepts a No. 8 fastener, making it compatible with standard inch-system hardware. Installed by electronics assemblers, HVAC technicians, and electricians during control board replacement or new panel construction.
Designed for use with No. 8 inch-system screws in round-body female unthreaded standoff applications. Suitable for circuit board mounting in HVAC controls, electrical enclosures, and similar panel assemblies where a 0.625-inch standoff height is required.
Power down and de-energize all control boards and panel assemblies before installing or removing standoff hardware. Use appropriately sized No. 8 fasteners and standard hand tools; avoid overtightening, which can deform the unthreaded bore or crack PCB mounting holes. Follow applicable NEC guidelines when working inside electrical enclosures. Verify overall length and bore diameter against the PCB mounting specification before installation.
