The ELECTRO HARDWARE S817-M01-F21-I is a round, female unthreaded circuit board spacer designed to maintain precise standoff clearance between a printed circuit board and a mounting surface. Machined from brass and finished with a zinc plating that meets ASTM B633, QQ-B-626 Comp 22 Type 1 standards, this spacer provides corrosion resistance suitable for electronics assemblies in controlled environments. It accepts a No. 10 screw, has an overall length of 0.625 inches, an outside diameter of 0.3125 inches, and an inside diameter of 0.194 inches. Electronics assembly technicians and field service engineers use this spacer when mounting control boards in HVAC equipment, electrical enclosures, and similar panel assemblies.
This spacer is suited for residential and light commercial applications where No. 10 hardware is used to mount circuit boards to chassis, DIN-rail subpanels, or equipment enclosures. The female unthreaded bore accepts a fastener passed through from the board side, allowing the spacer to act as a standoff column. Its compact 5/16-inch outside diameter makes it appropriate for densely populated board layouts where clearance between mounting points is limited.
Designed as a standard No. 10 round female unthreaded brass circuit board spacer for use in electronics and electrical enclosure assemblies requiring ASTM B633 zinc-plated hardware.
Installation is typically performed by electronics assembly technicians or licensed electricians during control board mounting or replacement. De-energize all circuits and discharge any capacitors before handling circuit boards or mounting hardware. Use the appropriate No. 10 fastener and avoid over-torquing, as brass is softer than steel and the unthreaded bore can be damaged by excessive clamping force. Follow applicable NEC guidelines when mounting control boards inside electrical enclosures.
