The ELECTRO HARDWARE S797-MO4-F16-E is a round, female unthreaded circuit board spacer machined from aluminum to support and separate PCBs within electronic enclosures and control assemblies. Designed for No. 4 screw fastening, it provides consistent standoff spacing with an overall length of 0.3125 inches, an outside diameter of 0.3125 inches, and an inside diameter of 0.116 inches. The aluminum construction conforms to material grade T-3 and fastener standard QQ-A-225A Comp 2. HVAC technicians, electricians, and panel builders use these spacers when mounting control boards in air handlers, furnace controllers, and other low-voltage electronic assemblies where precise board standoff is required.
This spacer is suited for residential and light commercial electronic control board installations. It is commonly used in PCB mounting applications where a No. 4 screw pattern is specified and a low-profile, uncoated aluminum standoff is appropriate. The unthreaded female bore accepts a screw from below, securing the board at a fixed height above the mounting surface. Installers working with HVAC control boards, relay panels, or custom electrical enclosures will find this spacer compatible with standard inch-system PCB layouts calling for 5/16 inch standoff height.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-service spacer for circuit board mounting applications requiring a No. 4 screw, female unthreaded, round aluminum standoff with a 5/16 inch overall length in inch-measurement assemblies.
Installation is performed by electricians, electronics technicians, or HVAC controls technicians during control board mounting or replacement service. Power down and de-energize the control panel or assembly completely before removing or installing circuit board hardware. Use appropriately sized No. 4 fasteners and a hand screwdriver or low-torque driver to avoid stressing the PCB substrate. Follow all applicable NEC requirements for panel and enclosure work.
