The ELECTRO HARDWARE S785-MO4-F16-H is a round, female unthreaded circuit board spacer machined from aluminum grade T-3 to QQ-A-225A Comp 2 specification. It is designed to create a fixed standoff gap between a printed circuit board and a mounting surface or second board layer. The spacer measures 0.125 inches overall length, 0.3125 inches outside diameter, and 0.171 inches inside diameter, accepting a number 8 screw. The uncoated aluminum construction keeps the part lightweight and thermally stable. Electrical and controls technicians install these spacers during PCB mounting and panel assembly work in HVAC controls, electrical enclosures, and similar low-voltage equipment.
This spacer is suited for residential and light commercial applications where PCBs require secure, consistent standoff spacing. Typical uses include control board mounting in HVAC equipment, terminal strip assemblies, and general electronics panel fabrication. Its compact 1/8-inch length makes it appropriate for tight board-to-surface clearances. The female unthreaded bore accommodates a number 8 fastener passed through the board and spacer into a threaded receiver below. Technicians working on control panel builds, service replacements, and OEM-style repairs will find this spacer a standard fit for low-profile PCB mounting configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install spacer for circuit board mounting applications requiring a number 8 screw, 1/8-inch standoff height, and 5/16-inch outside diameter in aluminum construction.
Installation is performed by electricians, controls technicians, and electronics assembly personnel. De-energize all circuits and discharge any stored capacitance before handling PCBs or mounting hardware. Use appropriately sized number 8 fasteners and avoid overtightening, which can crack board mounting holes or deform the aluminum spacer. Installations inside electrical enclosures should conform to applicable NEC guidelines for control panel assembly.
