The ELECTRO HARDWARE S577M17F16G is a round, female unthreaded circuit board spacer designed to create standoff clearance between a PCB and a mounting surface. Manufactured from Nylon Grade 101 to MIL-P-17091B specification, it provides electrically non-conductive separation suitable for sensitive circuit board assemblies. The spacer measures 1.25 inches overall length with a 0.141-inch inside diameter and a 0.250-inch outside diameter. The uncoated finish keeps tolerances tight, with a length tolerance of -0.005 to 0.005 inches and an inside diameter tolerance of 0.000 to 0.010 inches. It is installed by electronics technicians, field service engineers, and panel builders working in HVAC controls, electrical enclosures, and related control board assemblies.
This spacer is suited for use wherever a No. 6 screw-mount standoff is required to support and isolate a circuit board from a chassis or mounting plate. Typical applications include HVAC control board mounting, electrical panel PCB assemblies, and industrial control enclosures where non-metallic, non-conductive spacing is required. The nylon construction resists corrosion and eliminates the risk of shorting against the board or chassis. It is sold individually but carries a minimum order quantity of 100 pieces, making it appropriate for service shops and OEM assembly operations stocking standard hardware.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service-stock spacer for circuit board mounting applications requiring a round, female unthreaded No. 6 screw-size nylon standoff meeting MIL-P-17091B standards.
Installation is performed by electronics technicians or control board service personnel. Power down and de-energize all circuits before removing or installing PCB hardware. Use a No. 6 screw of appropriate length to account for the 1.25-inch spacer stack height. Avoid over-torquing fasteners into nylon spacers, as the unthreaded female bore can deform under excessive load.
