The ELECTRO HARDWARE S529M17F16G is a round, female unthreaded circuit board spacer designed to maintain precise standoff distance between a PCB and its mounting surface. Built from Nylon Grade 101 to MIL-P-17091B standards, this spacer delivers consistent electrical isolation and mechanical separation in board-level assemblies. It measures 0.5 inches overall length with an inside diameter of 0.141 inches and an outside diameter of 0.25 inches. The uncoated finish and nylon construction make it suitable for use in low-voltage electronic enclosures, control panels, and printed circuit board mounting applications across HVAC, industrial, and electrical equipment.
This spacer is used in applications where a No. 6 screw fastener is required to secure a circuit board at a fixed standoff height. Typical installations include residential and commercial control boards, electronic enclosures, relay panels, and OEM equipment assemblies. Electricians, controls technicians, and electronics assembly professionals use these spacers when mounting or replacing PCBs inside HVAC units, motor controllers, or electrical distribution equipment. The female unthreaded bore accepts a No. 6 screw passed through from the board side, providing a clean, non-conductive standoff point.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation spacer for circuit board assemblies requiring a No. 6 screw, female unthreaded, round nylon standoff with a 0.5-inch overall length.
Installation is performed by electronics assembly technicians, electricians, or controls service professionals. Always de-energize the equipment and discharge any capacitors before handling circuit boards or installing spacers. A No. 6 screw is passed through the PCB mounting hole and into or through the spacer bore to secure the board at the correct standoff height. Follow applicable NEC guidelines and OEM mounting specifications when replacing or installing control boards in electrical enclosures.
