The ELECTRO HARDWARE S1359-M04-F16-K is a round, female unthreaded circuit board spacer machined from aluminum alloy grade T-3 to QQ-A-225A Comp 2 specification. It accepts a 1/4 inch screw, measures 0.5 inches in overall length, and carries an outside diameter of 0.5 inches with an inside diameter of 0.257 inches. The uncoated finish leaves the aluminum bare, which is common in applications where corrosion exposure is minimal and electrical isolation is not required. Licensed electricians, electronics technicians, and PCB assembly professionals install these spacers to maintain consistent standoff height between a circuit board and a mounting surface or chassis panel.
This spacer is suited for use in residential and light commercial electronic enclosures, control panels, and printed circuit board assemblies where a 1/4 inch fastener is the standard screw size. It is well matched to HVAC control board mounting applications, industrial control enclosures, and general PCB standoff work where precise, repeatable board-to-chassis clearance is needed. The compact 0.5 inch length makes it appropriate for low-profile assemblies with limited vertical clearance inside the enclosure.
Designed as a standard OEM-style replacement or new-installation component for printed circuit board assemblies and control panel enclosures that use 1/4 inch fasteners and require a 0.5 inch standoff height.
Installation is typically performed by an electronics technician or licensed electrician. Always de-energize and lock out the control panel or enclosure before servicing any circuit board or mounting hardware. Use hand tools sized for 1/4 inch fasteners and avoid overtightening, as aluminum spacers can deform under excessive clamp load. Verify that board-to-chassis clearance meets the requirements of the assembly drawing or applicable electrical code before restoring power.
