The ELECTRO HARDWARE S1071-M04-F16-H is a round, female unthreaded circuit board spacer machined from aluminum grade T-3 to the QQ-A-225A Comp 2 fastener standard. It is designed to create a fixed standoff gap between a printed circuit board and a mounting surface or secondary board. The spacer measures 0.375 inches in overall length (OAL), 0.375 inches in outside diameter (OD), and 0.171 inches in inside diameter (ID), with an inside diameter tolerance of 0.000 to 0.010 inches and a length tolerance of -0.005 to 0.005 inches. It accepts a number 8 screw and ships uncoated. Electronics technicians and field service techs who perform control board replacement or panel assembly work will find this spacer suitable for standard board-mounting applications.
This spacer is used wherever a number 8 fastener standoff is required to secure a circuit board at a fixed height above a chassis or enclosure floor. Typical applications include residential and light commercial HVAC control boards, electrical panel subassemblies, and industrial equipment requiring precise board-to-chassis clearance. The aluminum construction keeps weight low while providing adequate rigidity for vibration-prone environments such as air handler cabinets or equipment enclosures. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 5 units.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service spacer for circuit board assemblies requiring a number 8 screw, female unthreaded round standoff with a 0.375-inch OAL and 0.375-inch OD in aluminum construction.
Installation is typically performed by licensed electricians or electronics technicians during control board service or panel assembly. Power down and de-energize the equipment fully before removing or installing any circuit board hardware. Use hand tools only when seating the fastener through the spacer to avoid over-torquing and cracking the board substrate. Follow applicable NEC guidelines when working inside electrical enclosures.
