The ELECTRO HARDWARE P529M07F16-1032 is a round female standoff designed for use in panel building, enclosure assembly, and electronic mounting applications. It features a 10-32 internal thread with a fully threaded body, providing secure fastener engagement across the full 0.5-inch overall length. Constructed from 18-8 Grade 303 stainless steel with a bright finish, this standoff resists corrosion and holds up in demanding environments. The 0.25-inch outside diameter keeps the footprint compact, making it suitable for tight spacing on circuit boards, sub-panels, and chassis assemblies. It conforms to federal specification QQ-S-763 for stainless steel fasteners.
This standoff is used in electrical enclosure fabrication, control panel assembly, and electronic equipment mounting. It is appropriate for both light industrial and commercial applications where a corrosion-resistant, compact female standoff is required. Electricians, panel builders, and electronics assembly technicians install this type of hardware when stacking boards, spacing components from a surface, or securing sub-assemblies inside enclosures. Its inch-system dimensions make it compatible with standard 10-32 threaded fasteners and tooling common in North American electrical and electronics work.
Designed as a standard 10-32 inch-thread female standoff compatible with 10-32 threaded screws and bolts used in electrical panel assembly, enclosure fabrication, and electronic chassis mounting applications.
Install and remove using the appropriate hex or spanner wrench sized to the 0.25-inch outside diameter to avoid marring the stainless steel surface. De-energize all circuits and discharge any stored energy in the enclosure before beginning hardware installation or removal. Avoid over-torquing into softer base materials, as the stainless steel thread is harder than many panel substrates. Follow applicable NEC guidelines when installing hardware inside electrical enclosures.
