The ELECTRO HARDWARE P529M03F21-632 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between a PCB and a mounting surface or between stacked boards. Machined from brass with a clear zinc chromate finish meeting ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22, this standoff provides corrosion resistance alongside reliable thread engagement. The hex body shape allows installation and removal with standard wrenching tools. It accepts a 6-32 threaded fastener and measures 0.5 inches overall length with a 0.25-inch width across the flats. Suitable for electronics assembly, control board mounting, and enclosure work across HVAC, electrical, and industrial applications.
This standoff is used wherever a circuit board requires secure, elevated mounting with a threaded female receiver on both the board side and the chassis side. Common applications include control board assemblies in HVAC equipment, electrical enclosures, and industrial control panels. The 6-32 thread size is a standard coarse pitch used across a wide range of PCB and chassis hardware. The compact 0.5-inch length suits low-profile board stacking and chassis mounting scenarios. Installation is performed by electrical and electronics technicians as well as HVAC service professionals working on control board replacements or assemblies.
Designed as a standard 6-32 female hex standoff for use in circuit board mounting applications across residential and commercial HVAC control boards, electrical enclosures, and general electronics assemblies requiring inch-series hardware.
De-energize all equipment and discharge any stored electrical energy before servicing control boards or enclosures. Use a hex wrench or nut driver sized to the 0.25-inch flats to seat the standoff without overtightening, which can crack PCB mounting holes or strip the brass threads. Follow applicable NEC guidelines when working inside electrical enclosures. Inspect thread engagement on both the standoff and the mating fastener before applying load.
