The ELECTRO HARDWARE P521M06F16-440 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create measured spacing between PCBs and mounting surfaces in electronic assemblies. Machined from aluminum alloy to the QQ-A-225A Comp 2 standard with a bright anodized finish, this standoff accepts a 4-40 threaded fastener and measures 0.375 inches overall length with a 0.25 inch width across flats. The hex body shape allows for wrench engagement during installation and removal. It is installed by electronics technicians and field service personnel working on control boards in HVAC, electrical, and industrial equipment.
This standoff is suited for use in residential and commercial electronic control assemblies where a 4-40 thread pattern is required and controlled board-to-surface clearance is necessary. Avoid cross-threading when engaging 4-40 fasteners, as aluminum threads are more susceptible to damage than steel.
