The ELECTRO HARDWARE P509M09F16-1032 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between a PCB and a mounting surface or between stacked boards. Machined from 18-8 and Grade 303 stainless steel with an anodized bright finish, this standoff meets the QQ-S-763 fastener standard for stainless steel hardware. It features a 10-32 female thread, a 3/16-inch overall length, and a 1/4-inch hex width across flats. Electronics assembly technicians, panel builders, and industrial maintenance techs use this type of hardware when mounting control boards in HVAC equipment, electrical enclosures, and other trade applications where corrosion resistance and dimensional consistency are critical.
This standoff is suited for light-duty circuit board mounting applications where a short standoff height is required. The 3/16-inch OAL makes it appropriate for installations with minimal clearance between a board and its mounting surface. The 10-32 female thread accepts a standard 10-32 male fastener from the mating component. It is used in residential and commercial control panel assemblies, HVAC equipment boards, and industrial enclosures where stainless steel hardware is specified for corrosion resistance or compliance with equipment standards.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation standoff for circuit board mounting applications requiring a 10-32 female thread and 3/16-inch standoff height.
Installation is performed by electronics assembly technicians or qualified trades personnel during control board mounting or replacement. Use a hex driver or wrench sized for 1/4-inch across flats to seat the standoff without over-torquing. Ensure all power is removed from the equipment before handling or replacing circuit board hardware. Follow applicable NEC or equipment manufacturer guidelines when working inside electrical enclosures.
