The ELECTRO HARDWARE P469M12F21256 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between PCBs and mounting surfaces in electronic enclosures and control panels. This standoff features a 2-56 female thread, a 3-inch overall length, and a 3/16-inch hex body width across flats. Constructed from steel with a clear zinc chromate finish applied to ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-S-633 standards, it provides corrosion resistance suitable for industrial and commercial control board assemblies. Installation is performed by electronics technicians, electricians, and HVAC controls specialists working on panel fabrication or board-level serviceability.
This standoff is suited for use in residential and commercial electronic control assemblies, including HVAC control boards, instrumentation enclosures, and custom panel builds where a secure, threaded female mount is required. The 3-inch OAL provides generous clearance between stacked boards or between a board and a chassis surface. The hex body allows for tightening and loosening with standard hex tools without slipping. Sold individually, it is appropriate for prototype builds, service replacement, and low-volume panel assembly work.
Designed as a standard female hex circuit board standoff for any application requiring a 2-56 threaded mount with a 3-inch overall length and 3/16-inch hex body in an inch-measurement fastener system.
Installation is performed by electronics technicians or electricians assembling or servicing control panels and circuit board assemblies. Always power down and de-energize the enclosure before handling any circuit board hardware. Use an appropriately sized hex wrench or socket to torque the standoff body without contacting board traces or components. Verify mating fastener thread class is compatible with the 2-56 female thread before assembly to avoid cross-threading or stripping.
